This Privacy Policy explains how BoosterAI (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and discloses personal data when you use our digital business card service (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this Policy.

1. Data we collect

  • Account data — name, email, password hash or OAuth identifier, and plan/billing status.
  • Card content — the information you publish on your card, including bio, links, images, and theme.
  • Lead & contact captures — details that people submit or save through your card, which you manage in your CRM.
  • Analytics & view events — anonymous or pseudonymous events such as card views and link taps, used to produce your analytics.
  • Technical data — IP address, device and browser information, and cookies needed to operate and secure the Service.

2. How we use data

We use personal data to provide and operate the Service, authenticate you, generate AI-assisted content at your request, produce analytics, process payments, prevent fraud and abuse, provide support, and comply with legal obligations.

3. Service providers (processors)

We share data with trusted providers who process it on our behalf, only as needed to run the Service:

  • Database hosting — a managed PostgreSQL host stores your account, card, and CRM data.
  • Object storage — stores uploaded images such as avatars.
  • Anthropic — processes prompts you submit for AI bio and theme generation.
  • Cashfree — processes payments and related billing information.
  • Resend — delivers transactional and account email.
  • Google — provides OAuth sign-in if you choose to use it.

We do not sell your personal data. We may disclose data if required by law or to protect our rights, users, or the Service.

4. Cookies

We use a small number of cookies, including an authentication/session cookie to keep you signed in and an affiliate cookie to attribute referrals. These are necessary for core functionality.

5. Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and object to or restrict certain processing. You can manage much of your data directly in the app, or contact us to exercise these rights. You may also withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.

6. Data retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the Service. After account closure, we delete or anonymize data within a reasonable period, except where we must retain it to meet legal, tax, accounting, or fraud-prevention obligations.

7. Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal data. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
